Learn To Ride Your Road Bike

Have you been thinking of participating in some group charity rides or triathlons but feel intimidated or unsure of your abilities? Are you wanting to build your confidence on the road while at the same time becoming a better, more comfortable rider? This 6 week course is the perfect chance to improve your bike riding and increase your confidence.

Our first focus will be to insure your bike is set up properly for you. Not only will this help you be more comfortable on the bike but also improve your riding. Our second focus will be to make you self-sufficient when out on the road with your bike. We will teach you how to change your own flat, make minor adjustments and properly clean your bike to keep it safe and running smoothly.

We will then spend the first couple of weeks on the beautiful, quite roads surrounding Farragat State Park where we will work on skills such as improved cadence, riding in a pack, climbing efficiently and most of all relaxing and enjoying your road bike. We will then meet at different locations in the community to improve your comfort in any situation you might find on the road.

Once the course is over you will have an option of joining the group on a community 50 mile ride. (This is optional and not part of the course).

Cost - $150
